Here are some pictures with me in them. I haven't posted any pics of me so that my beard would have more shock value when I arrived home.

Well I made it back to Atlanta after a not so difficult 2.5 hour ride from Highlands to Atlanta. My first stop back in town was to see my long time friend and boss Gregg, who has been sick. I wanted to surprise him at work. I think he was a little shocked when he heard my motor rev as I came up the hill. Maybe he was just smiling because he knew I made back safely and I could start working right away.  But oh no! I have more riding to do.  After I finished boring him with stories from my trip I left and headed for Angela's office. She wasn't expecting to see me until tonight, so once again my surprise missions worked. We hugged and kissed real quick and I let her get back to work. Somebody has to work around here! I just couldn't wait to see her, I was almost nervous like a high school kid meeting his prom date. I went directly to my mom's house where I'll be spending the next night. I'm staying here because I don't want my dog June to see me and then get taken to our friends house the next day. When she sees me I want to be home for good.  It may sound a little wacky but I just want stuff to be seamless and smooth. I also don't want this feeling of travel to end. The less time I spend at home the easier it will be to leave for Key West.
Angela and I will leave Saturday night for Macon Ga. We're doing this so that her first on the bike won't have to be 520 miles in the 90 degree heat, but rather 400 miles.  The following days will be shorter and more enjoyable, well... enjoyable as Florida's scenery can be.
Here are some pictures of today on my way home.
