Not much time to post, we are waiting for the ferry to leave from Prince Rupert.  The last two days have been beautiful. Western British Columbia is a wonderful place. The road we were on twists through the hills and mountains, following a  raging river. I have been constantly on the look out for wildlife the past few days and finally, today we saw two small black bears along side of the highway.  This is my first bear sighting ever so I am pretty excited. I feel good looking at them from highway speed where they can't get to us. Very cute munching on leaves.
Last night we made our first campsite stop. We found a nice place in a valley, in a town named Smithers BC.  Had a good sleep with a little rain overnight. Today it was really nice until we reached the edge of Prince Rupert and the skies opened up. But now the sun is beginning to shine.

There will be no internet signal on the ferry boat so once again I'll be out of touch with the blog. I'll try to make up for it when we reach Alaska in two days. Thanks for being patient.
